Terms of Use

Minakshi Salon & Makeup Studio – Terms & Conditions

1. Studio Makeup – Terms & Conditions

1. Appointment & Punctuality

  • All services are strictly appointment-based.

  • Clients must arrive on time.

  • Delay beyond 20 minutes will attract waiting charges.

  • Delay beyond 1 hour may result in:

    • Change of assigned artist (subject to availability), or

    • Shortened service without refund.

2. Studio Timings

  • Studio closing time is strictly 8:00 PM.

  • Services must be completed before closing time.

  • Late arrival may result in service modification without refund.

3. Early Morning Charges

  • For appointments before 10:30 AM, ₹600 per hour will be charged additionally.

4. Booking & Payment Policy

  • Event more than 15 days away → 50% advance required.

  • Event within 15 days → 100% advance required.

  • All advance payments are strictly non-refundable.

  • Booking is confirmed only after receipt of advance payment.

5. Additional Services & Redo Policy

  • Services not pre-booked are subject to availability and will be charged separately.

  • Complete redo of makeup or hairstyle after completion will be treated as a new service and charged accordingly.

6. Skin Allergy & Liability Disclaimer

  • Clients must disclose any allergies, skin sensitivities, medical conditions, or ongoing dermatological treatments.

  • Makeup is a product-based and skill-based service; reactions vary individually.

  • The studio/artist is not liable for:

    • Allergic reactions

    • Breakouts

    • Rashes

    • Irritation

    • Skin sensitivity or side effects

  • Any reaction during or after service is the client’s responsibility.

7. Client Preparation

  • Clients must arrive with a clean face.

  • Heavy creams, oils, masks, or makeup should not be applied unless instructed.

8. Studio Conduct Policy

  • Personal photographers are not allowed inside the studio.

  • Kids are not allowed during makeup.

  • Unnecessary crowding or interruptions are not permitted.

  • A calm and respectful environment must be maintained.

9. Personal Belongings

  • Clients are responsible for their jewellery, cash, phones, and valuables.

  • The studio is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage.

10. Emergency Clause

  • In case of unavoidable emergency from the artist’s side:

    • An alternate artist may be arranged.

    • If not available, refund may be processed at management discretion.

11. Portfolio & Media Rights

  • Photos/videos may be used for marketing and portfolio.

  • Clients must inform in advance if they wish to opt out.

12. Acceptance

  • Booking confirmation implies acceptance of all terms.

⭐ 2. Outstation / Venue Makeup – Terms & Conditions

1. Travel & Stay Policy

  • Travel must be arranged by client (AC cab/train/flight) or reimbursed.

  • For early morning arrival or late-night return, a clean and safe minimum 3-star hotel stay must be arranged.

  • The artist will not travel personally with the client.

2. Event Details

  • Venue address, event timing, and schedule must be shared at least 7 days in advance.

  • Last-minute venue or timing changes will attract additional charges.

3. Booking & Payment

  • More than 15 days before event → 50% advance.

  • Within 15 days → 100% advance.

  • All advance payments are strictly non-refundable.

4. Venue Setup Requirements

Client must provide:

  • Clean, ventilated room

  • Proper lighting

  • Chair, table, mirror

  • Power supply

  • Air-conditioning during summer

  • Minimal crowd or disturbance

Improper setup affecting service quality will not be studio responsibility.

5. Punctuality (Strict Clause)

  • Delay beyond 20 minutes → waiting charges apply.

  • Delay beyond 1 hour → service may be cancelled without refund or shortened.

6. Additional Charges

  • Extra services not pre-booked will be charged at outstation rates.

  • Parking, tolls, entry fees, venue charges must be borne by client.

  • Food arrangements must be provided for long-duration events.

  • Product damage due to negligence by client or family will be chargeable.

7. Allergy & Liability Disclaimer

  • Client must disclose skin sensitivities or medical conditions.

  • The studio/artist is not responsible for allergic reactions or side effects.

  • Any reaction during or after service is solely client responsibility.

8. Redo Policy

  • Full makeup or hairstyle changes after completion will be treated as new service.

9. Crowd & Child Policy

  • Kids are not allowed around the bride during makeup.

  • Excessive crowd interference is not permitted.

10. Emergency Clause

  • Alternate artist may be arranged if required.

  • If not available, refund may be processed.

11. Portfolio Usage

  • Photos/videos may be used for marketing unless informed prior.

12. Acceptance

  • Booking confirmation implies acceptance of all terms.

⭐ 3. Salon Services (Skin, Hair, Chemical Treatments) – Terms & Conditions

1. Appointment & Walk-In

  • Services are primarily appointment-based.

  • Walk-ins are subject to availability.

  • First-come, first-serve policy applies.

2. Chemical & Technical Services Consent

For services including hair color, smoothening, keratin, rebonding, bleach, advanced facials:

  • Clients must disclose:

    • Previous chemical history

    • Hair damage

    • Medical conditions

    • Skin treatments

  • Written consent may be required before service.

  • The salon is not responsible for:

    • Hair breakage

    • Color variation

    • Texture changes

    • Skin irritation

    • Results impacted by prior treatments

3. Patch Test Policy

  • Patch test is recommended for sensitive treatments.

  • If declined, the salon is not liable for allergic reactions.

4. Facial & Skin Treatment Disclaimer

  • Results vary from person to person.

  • No guarantee of permanent or medical results.

  • Clients undergoing dermatological treatment must inform beforehand.

5. Service Outcome Disclaimer

  • Final results may vary based on:

    • Hair type

    • Skin condition

    • Previous treatments

  • Reference images are for guidance only.

6. Approval & Refund Policy

  • Once service is completed and approved, it is considered accepted.

  • Complaints must be raised before leaving the salon.

  • No refunds after service completion.

  • Corrections, if any, are at management discretion.

7. Hygiene & Safety

  • Tools are sanitized as per hygiene standards.

  • Clients with contagious conditions may be refused service.

8. Personal Belongings

  • The salon is not responsible for personal belongings.

9. Child Safety

  • Children must be supervised by guardians.

  • The salon is not responsible for child safety inside premises.

10. Pricing Policy

  • Prices may vary depending on hair length, density, and product usage.

  • Taxes, if applicable, are extra.

11. Behavior Policy

  • Misconduct or disrespect toward staff may result in refusal of service.

12. Management Rights

  • Management reserves the right to refuse service or modify policies without prior notice.
